Bathed in Capricorn's Full Moon glow, we journey through the potent heart of Tammuz - Cancer. This celestial dance, the most commanding of the year, weaves an intricate story upon the cosmic loom. Concurrently, the revered month of Shravan blossoms in the Hindu calendar on the fourth day of July, adding to the symphony of this sacred time.
Standing at the threshold of a portal both profound and potent, we find a choice presented: to cross into the unknown, to become both prophecy and oracle. In the embrace of these transformative currents, we discover the profound truth that devotion is selfless. It sings a melody of surrender, an ethereal verse in the infinity of our existence...
Devotion is selfless; it is a blossoming of the soul that thrives not on expectation but on the pure, unconditional joy of giving.
Devotion is surrender; it is a humble submission to the divine rhythm of life, a gentle acquiescence to the ebb and flow of the cosmic tide.
Devotion is heart; it is the sacred language of the unspoken, the heartbeat of the Divine Feminine Presence pulsing in synchrony with our own.
Devotion is love for Alaha; it is a divine dance of the soul resonating with the celestial melody of the Almighty, a perpetual hymn echoing in the chambers of the heart.
The months of Tammuz and Shravan, hailing from distinct cultures and spiritual traditions - Gnostic Hebrew - Aramaic and Hindu respectively, both carry a profound depth of wisdom and spiritual insight. These months, although steeped in different traditions, converge on a fundamental spiritual tenet: the idea of surrender, of entering into a deep, intimate communion with the Divine and aligning oneself with the greater cosmic cycle.
In the month of Tammuz - Cancer, belonging to the Aramaic - Hebrew calendar, we are invited to dive deep into our emotional world, exploring the layers of our psyche, our feelings, and intuition. This is a time of purification, a time to let go of what no longer serves us and making room for new energies and spiritual growth through devotion and service.
In the Hindu tradition, Shravan is considered the holiest month of the year. It is a time of prayer, devotion, and fasting, a time to demonstrate one's dedication to the Divine. Just as in Tammuz, Shravan calls for introspection, for surrender, for a deepening of one's spiritual connection.
These two months, despite their distinct origins, share an undercurrent of devotion and surrender, highlighting the universal human need to connect to something greater, to the cosmic dance that we are all a part of.
The ancient lineages understood the power of these times, of these cycles. They danced with the Cosmic Intelligence, aligning their rhythms to the heartbeat of the Universe. Through rituals, prayers, and practices, they communed with these cycles, anchoring themselves in the ebb and flow of cosmic energy. By doing so, they became attuned to the greater rhythms of life, learning to flow with rather than against them.
Tammuz and Shravan, thus, invite us all to partake in this dance, to surrender to the cycles of the cosmos and allow them to guide our journey. They encourage us to let go of our egoic desires and surrender to the grand design of the Cosmic Intelligence, to understand that we are not separate from it but intrinsically woven into its fabric. This is the wisdom that Tammuz and Shravan bring – the wisdom of alignment, of surrender, of recognizing and honoring our place in the cosmic dance.
